Be Your Own Hero

What is a SuperShero? Someone who is invincible? No. She's someone who is brave enough to risk vulnerability...realizing that vulnerability is strength. A SuperShero is someone who invites her bravest and most alive self to come out and play. This doesn't mean never having fear or uncertainty, but a shero doesn't let these things stop her. Instead, she sees fear, uncertainty, and discomfort as compasses for growth. A shero accepts challenges and seeks to live a full and courageous life. Being a shero is not about dramatic feats of heroism or being unshakably strong all the time...it's vulnerability...vulnerability is not weakness, it is a superpower of change and a measurement of courage. It is the birthplace of everything we're hungry for. The best life experiences require vulnerability. Allowing ourselves to be vulnerable can greatly expand our world. How do you let yourself be vulnerable? Love yourself...all of you, not just the shiny parts...be true to yourself, your hopes and dreams...be your authentic self. Do not let fear of the unknown or fear of rejection hold you back. To be vulnerable is to be your own courageous shero...openly facing life and all that it has to offer if you just willingly open yourself up to its wonderful possibilities. Every woman has an inner SuperShero inside of her just waiting to be unleashed...we just need the courage to put on the cape. Live and love with your whole heart...your whole, vulnerable heart. Follow your dreams with courage and vulnerability. What would you do if you knew you could not fail? Now...go and do that thing.
