Mental Muscle Fit Tip: Don't just go through the motions. Make the connection: the "mind to muscle" connection. Don't underestimate the power of the mind in building muscle. Train your body and mind to work together. Mindfully activate your muscles and focus on the muscle group you're working. When I train myself or clients, I say, "put your brain on the muscle you're working." Your muscles do what your mind tells them to do. Training the mind is the real challenge. Next time you train, mindfully focus on the muscle group(s) being worked, feel the muscle working and visualize each contraction. Muscle follows the mind.
