Today's Fit Tip: train your muscles, not your ego. Full range of motion and concentrated mind to muscle connection is so much more important than chasing arbitrary numbers just so we can "brag" about how much we are lifting. Progress comes as the result of smart training. I get asked all the time: "what's your max bench or max squat". My answer: "I don't know...I'm a bodybuilder, not a power lifter." Be more concerned with form over weight. Only increase the weight if you can maintain safe form and full range of motion. Train smart.
