Today's Mental Muscle: Be savage, not average. Don't simply go through the motions as you go through life. Approach life and approach your goals with enthusiasm. Enthusiasm moves the world and is the sustaining power of all great action. However, enthusiasm and motivation are fickle...they ebb and flow...we must actively recommit ourselves daily to our goals and renew our enthusiasm each day. You alone are responsible for your effort and the energy you exude. Exude enthusiasm and act upon your goals with continuous effort. We can apply this to any goal or dream in life, so think about your own personal goals as you read this. As it relates to fitness and to my own personal bodybuilding goals, my personal gym mantra is: Don't just walk into the gym like you're just checking off a box on your daily "to-do" list. Walk in there with a burning desire to succeed.
