As a personal trainer, I can’t do it for you. There’s absolutely nothing I can say to magically make you want to do it. I can lead you. I can teach you. I can show you. I can encourage you. I can support you. I can’t want it for you. I can’t do it for you. I can encourage, motivate and inspire, but I am not a counselor or therapist and I can’t unravel or solve your internal struggles for you. You must be extremely honest with yourself. It’s up to you to face you—I can’t do that for you either.
It’s the same for everything else: doctors can’t make you healthy. Teachers can’t make you study. Nutritionists and dietitians can’t make you eat healthy. Your manager at work can’t make you show up to work. Everything is up to Y-O-U!
At the end of the day, your success in life, no matter what your goals are, is dependent upon you, so rise up and take control of your life.
“You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have charge of.” Jim Rohn
You must ditch the “victim, woe is me mentality”. Dump your excuses. Face your own “BS”.
“The victim mindset dilutes the human potential. By not accepting personal responsibility for our circumstances, we greatly reduce our power to change them.” Steve Maraboli
Ending self sabotage starts with self awareness and accepting personal responsibility.
Be your own hero in life.
