Mental Toughness: Strengthen the mind and the body will follow. I believe in the power of thought and attitude. As we think, we become. This is why I start each day and end each day by reading and studying motivational quotes or books. As we exercise our bodies, we must also exercise and strengthen our minds.
Here are some mental muscle morsels of motivation to build mental toughness. (Quotes from Tim Grover's book, "Relentless")
💪Do. The. Work. Every day. Challenge yourself to be uncomfortable, push past the apathy and laziness and fear.
💪Bottom line if you want success of any kind: you have to be comfortable being uncomfortable. Every time you think you can’t, you have to do it anyway. That last mile, the last set, the last five minutes on the clock.
💪This is your life, how can you not invest in that? I'm not talking to the athletes here, but to anyone who places value on success.
💪Surround yourself with those who want you to succeed, who recognize what it takes to be successful. People who don’t pursue their own dreams probably won’t encourage you to pursue yours.
